Ignatian spirituality is unique: It was the first spirituality intentionally directed to lay people and set out by a lay person. (St. Ignatius didn’t become a priest until much later in his life.) You may be familiar about Benedictine, Dominican and other paths to God that are more ancient and equally valid approaches to spirituality. These spiritualities have been adapted, often brilliantly, for use by the laity, but the fact remains that they were originally directed towards those in religious life. We are a Jesuit parish, so Ignatian Spirituality is our “family” spirituality. “Finding God in All Things” is the first step in Ignatian spirituality. Join Fr. Paul in Biss Hall to learn about all ten steps in Ignatian “fluency.” No registration needed. Just show up!
