In a Jesuit parish, responsible voting can draw upon the Apostolic Preferences of the Society of Jesus and Ignatian Spirituality’s tools of discernment.
Our intention in this three week series was to explore discerning and praying about electoral and public policy choices from an Ignatian perspective. None of the sessions focused on or promoted national or state candidates or partisan politics. If you missed a Zoom session, we recorded them so you can watch, listen and learn.
Session 1 (Sept 17):
New 2024 Rules on Casting Ballots in North Carolina
Michael Dickerson, Mecklenburg County Board of Elections Director answered questions about voter IDs, mail-in ballots and more.
